Ask anyone who plays video games often (and even some people who don't) about The Sims and they'll tell you right away what
it is. The Sims is the best-selling electronic game of all time. It was created by will Wright, the founder of all the Sim
games (SimCity, Sim Theme Park, Sim Golf, etc.), and it's basically a game about living. Quite ironic that so many people
have lost countless hours of their real life managing the life of a virtual person. But that's beside the point, and I'm sure
I'm beginning to bore you.
When Maxis decided to create a sequel to The Sims, they had to be very careful. Their new game had to be different enough
so that people would buy it, but not so different that they would stray away from the formula that has sold millions of copies
worldwide. What they came up with is one of the most addictive games I've ever played, and one that would be very entertaining
to write about on a website, which is quite coincidental because I happen to own one.
Over the course of the next few days I will spend my time fiddling with the mechanics of the game and writing about it
here on my site. So, I present to you...
